It has been a very busy period.
I have not mentioned that Justus has stopped his study at the conservatorium. The reason is that the school himself does not seem to be able to cope with him due to his disability (Asperger). This is at least our opinion as the whole year we have been told that he made good progress and only in the last week they decided not to let him in the next year. This came as a big shock to all of us as he seemed to do fine and he loves composing. After the first shock and huge disappointment, Justus came up with the idea to switch to learning Japanese. It’s been a busy week. Since the bathroom has been rebuild we really got the itchies to updo the rest of the house again. Meaning, all the things that still needed doing but we never found the time for after we moved in. I started with glosspainting the door and doorframe of the bathroom. Yesterday I did mention we noticed Justus’ digital receiver was malfunctioning. This meant he could no longer watch the scrambled channels on his tv-set. I did a search on Marktplaats. This is the dutch version of E-bay and lo and behold, we found one for sale, just around the corner where we live. Continue reading
